Yemoja, Smite’s newest guardian, received her first premium skin today. The Toxic Current skin sees Yemoja’s luscious water abilities replaced with radioactive-green toxic liquid. Her gigantic, tidal wave ultimate ability now glows green and her water portal resembles a sanitation tunnel entrance. Equipped with a custom voice pack, players who already own the Yemoja voice pack can enjoy some great new custom VGS lines.
When Yemoja casts her ultimate ability, with Toxic Current equipped, she shouts, “The fallout will be catastrophic!” or, “You have met your fate!” Some other ability-use lines include:
- Bouncing Bubble: “One hit is all I need.”
- Moonstrike: “Toxicity levels are high.”
- Mending Waters: “I never hold back.”
- Riptide: “How convenient.”

Toxic Current Yemoja Best Voicelines and Directed Taunts
Taunting opponents in Smite can be done without typing a word to them. On PC, activating a character taunt is triggered by hitting the keys V-E-T in order to activate the in-game voice chat. After that chain your character, if stationary, will perform a brief animation and say something (sometimes silly, sometimes antagonistic) to taunt an enemy player into making a hasty attack without thinking about it.
Toxic Current Yemoja has some fun (V-E-T) taunts:
- “I’ll give you a moment to turn around and walk the other way.”
- “Not even a hazmat suit could save you.”
- “You know, I could just melt that smile right off your face.” (my personal favorite)
- “I take it you have a death wish?”
- “You don’t wanna touch me, you’ll leave with a really bad burn.”
Beyond the general taunts, some characters in Smite have what are called “directed taunts” which automatically play whenever a specific character defeats another specific character. Many times these are fun jabs at the lore shared between the two characters. For example, when Thor kills Fenrir he will sometimes say “Begone, beast! Wait for Ragnarok!”
Toxic Current Yemoja has a few directed taunts:
- To Hades: “Back from whence you came!”
- To Ymir: “What’s left is a puddle of water.”
- To Horus: “You could have healed these people. You chose a different path.”
- To Set: “Now I’m fighting against donkeys. What’s next?”
- To Olorun: “Your radiation is great, but I see it isn’t as powerful as mine.”
As a premium cosmetic skin, Toxic Current Yemoja is available for direct purchase of 1200 gems. The skin is also available in the Toxic chest with assorted other skins and cosmetic items for 400 gems per chest, but no guarantee of getting the Yemoja skin unless all the other items available in the chest are already owned.
