Toy Soldiers, now there’s a game I bet you forgot about.
Originally debuting on Xbox Live in 2010, Ubisoft and Signal Studios are breathing some new life into the franchise with the upcoming launch of Toy Soldiers: War Chest.
The new game features four new armies that players can select to play as: futuristic, Ghost Company, led by Phantom; then there’s a medieval-themed army led by “Dark Lord”; Kaiser is joining the fight with his German, WWI-era army; and Starbright and the Buddy Bears are sure to brighten up any battle they prance into.
The game also features two all-star heroes: G.I. Joe and He-Man.
Could there be more franchises on the way? Transformers? Mighty Max? Gumby? …One can only dream of a game that allows me to ride into battle on Pokey.
This will be the first Toy Soldiers game that is not an Xbox exclusive, as War Chest is releasing for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC later this year.
