Bilbo, Bruce, Borat, Bippo-No-Bungus, Bashful, and Blackwatch. Bam. I benevolently bestow this bounty of words bonded by beginnings. I just watched V for Vendetta, I will be doing this for about a week. Feel for my friends and family, for they feverishly fear this frequent faux fortuity. /twirls moustache, throws daggers, laughs, swirls cape, exits. //end scene. The three dwarves are intensely loyal brothers, each with his own quirky personality. I could easily see this trio providing the comedic relief for the two movies. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the Dwarves than what we got from the previous Lord of the […]

Evangeline Lilly Joins ‘Hobbit’ Cast

Along with the announcement of Barry Humphries playing The Goblin King, news has spread that Evangeline Lilly will take the part of a new character in Peter Jackson’s adaptation of The Hobbit. Lilly will portray Tauriel, a Woodland Elf. “The name means ‘Daughter of Mirkwood,’” Jackson said shortly after the announcement, “and beyond that, we must leave you guessing!” Well, beyond that, all we know is that she won’t be a love interest of Orlando Bloom’s Legolas character, and that […]
