No-Grind MMO “Forge” Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Combining elements of an MMO with elements of a FPS, Dark Vale Games hopes to have the next big hit in development. The development studio recently launched a kickstarter campaign to allow fans to contribute to the development process.
With 36 days to go, the Forge Kickstarter campaign has collected $16,415 in funding from nearly 500 individuals.
From the Kickstarter page: “Forge is built to be enjoyable even if you have only a limited amount of game time available each night, keeping the low time requirements and ease of access of a traditional first-person-shooter (FPS). Skill is the only determining factor between victory and defeat, not whether you were able to grind out a set of armor or weapons better than your opponents.”
Forge is being developed with the Unreal Engine 3. The game will feature a total of six player classes, four different battle maps, and will feature intense player vs. player combat.
Some of the Kickstarter pledge rewards include: $15 – A digital copy of the game. $75 – All previous rewards plus two years of free DLC. $250 – All previous rewards plus five game copies for friends and family, as well as Astro A*stars earbuds.
