Ah, Monday. It was a little easier getting out of bed this morning, knowing I had a few new Steam Sales to check out.
No, it wasn’t the smell of a fresh pot of coffee, or the beckoning of the handful of text messages I received while I overslept. It was the prospect of spending more money on more games, that motivated me on this miserably muggy morning.
Dear Esther – $2.49
Earlier this year I interviewed Dear Esther’s writer and producer, Dan Pinchbeck, about the game. Dear Esther is certainly not for everyone, but if you have a thing for mystery novels, exploring scenic locations in games, or enjoying a quiet afternoon with a relaxing title, then consider picking up Dear Esther. For two-and-a-half bucks, you can’t go wrong.
Steam’s Indie Bundle #5 – $9.99
The fifth indie bundle Steam has assembled for the sale includes: Audiosurf, Gemini Rue, Greed Corp, The Tiny Bang Story, and Ys: The Oath in Felghana.
Click the links to be taken to the Steam Store page for the individual game. All together, these games would normally cost $39.99.
As has been the case, there are flash deals that spring up throughout the day, sometimes indie games are among these deals, so check the Steam Store periodically for deals.
