What the game is: Lineage Eternal is an upcoming MMORPG from NCsoft. The mmorpg will feature 3 playable classes, the Knight, Mage, and Archer, nothing new there. What will undoubtedly catch your eye, though, is the “click-and-drag” combat system.   This feature allows players to use abilities without having to click buttons or utilize hot-keys. If playing as the Mage, the player could easily create a protective wall of fire by simply clicking and dragging the outline of a box around the character. Voila, fire wall.

Players can also interact with the environment to gain the upper hand against foes. In the preview video above, you will see the Knight use a grapple to pull enemies in closer, and you will see him hurdle a flaming brazier into a tent in order to flush the monsters out from within.

Why you should pay attention: It looks like Lineage Eternal will feature massive warzones for players to pummel, shoot, and ice-blast their way through. The physics of corpses being knocked aside and just the pure awesome massiveness of these battles should be enough for you to mentally bookmark, also known as remembering, Lineage Eternal.

Lineage Eternal was just announced this week, so keep an eye on the NCsoft website for more information in the near future.
