Battlefield 3, Class Info and System Requirements

Major class changes:

– The Assault class now carries med-packs and a defibrillator, used to revive wounded or dying teammates.

– Engineers can now construct objects for teammates to take shelter in from small-arms fire.

Support gets bi-pods for their light machine guns, allowing them to mount their guns wherever there is a flat surface. Once mounted, firing your gun results in “suppressive fire,” a much more devastating outpouring of lead-based firepower than any other gun, forcing the enemy to remain locked down.

The scouting class was mentioned to have a much more team-based role, ensuring that There will be no roost of snipers perched upon the hills as their team loses in Battlefield 3.” [source]
