Mortal Kombat: Legacy episode 5

The second part of the Kitana and Mileena story arc. This episode was boring. Plain and simple. I found the best part of the episode to be the animations, just for their visual appeal.

Speaking of which, I would say a good half of the episode, if not more, was animated. Which really reinforces what I brought up last week after watching episode 4: they over estimated the budget and had to cut back.

Personally, I would have rather the entire episode to have been the fairy-tale story of the two sisters told via the animation, and have a live action scene at the end to tease…but the whole live action, switch to cartoon, switch back to live action, back to cartoon…is getting old.

I hope episode 6 freshens the series up, for episode 5 was definitely the weakest thus far.
